It rained this morning and with as dry as it has been, it seems as if the water washed away all the gloom and left a new landscape that smiles on a new day.
It was the rain that woke me up today, the pattering on my roof that soon turned into a short downpour shook me from my early morning stupor and left me wide awake. So I climbed out of bed and went grocery shopping. As I was driving to the store the streets were quiet and would have appeared lonely just yesterday but the rain made it fresh, clean and tranquil, it was worth being prematurely raised from my slumber to witness this beautiful morning.
