Christmas is just a few days away and I am caught up with my bench work, special orders are finished and deliveries have been made. As usual for this time of year I haven’t started my shopping yet and have no idea what to give to the people closest to my heart.

The weather outside is cold and dreary with a slight threat of ice and snow and we are having a real slow period at the store so I get nervous about making it to my sales goals on December 24th. None the less I have a cheerful attitude because as I get older I find that the world has bigger problems than whether I make bank for the holidays. So I turn my mind to happier thoughts of good friends, family and doing what I can to make those in my life smile and maybe even laugh because together we can appreciate what we have and the life we have been given.

May your Christmas be happy and filled with blessings from the heart and not worry about what you may or may not find under the tree because the most important part of the holidays are who you surround the tree with.
